At Agro Belgrade Fair participated more than 500 domestic and foreign buyers of fruits and vegetables, domestic producers, cooperatives, producers and distributors of agricultural equipment and machinery, seed houses,
experts in the field of protection and conservation of plants, representatives of foreign and regional fruit and vegetable fairs, viticulture and vegetable growing, nurseries and inputs for agricultural production, manufacturers and distributors of drones and other surveillance technologies, greenhouse and greenhouse manufacturers, irrigation experts, field protection and sun protection, modern machinery for production, processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables and delivery vehicles.
Except exhibition, during the three days of the fair, 12 conferences were held focusing on trends and challenges in the field of agricultural production. Leading industry experts discussed: current trends in the food industry, export prospects and Serbia’s position on the world market, inspections regarding food safety and export procedures, prospects for organic production, current and future agribusiness financing programs, review of the current state and prospects of agricultural labor forces, integrative association models as a means of increasing exports, and market opportunities for berries, especially for raspberries and blueberries.
