The 113th edition of Fieragricola, biennial international exhibition dedicated to agriculture, will take place from Wednesday 31 January to Saturday 3 February 2018 at the Verona Fair.
Born in 1898, Fieragricola will celebrate 120 years of history in 2018, with a formula aimed at all the specializations of the agricultural sector: agricultural mechanics, vineyards and orchards, animal husbandry, renewable energy sources, multifunction, green management and forestry activities, agrochemicals and fertilizers.
As in 2016, the formula will be confirmed from Wednesday to Saturday.
Also in 2018 Fieragricola will aim to strengthen international relations (in the last edition the focuses dedicated to Africa, Iran, Cuba, the Middle East and the Caucasian Republics have proved to be of considerable interest) and will identify a host country, as an occasion dialogue on the themes of innovation and competitiveness in agriculture and to foster bilateral relations between the agricultural world and institutions.
In 2016 Fieragricola was confirmed as the reference platform for the primary sector, with 130 thousand visitors and with 15% of operators coming from abroad, an increase of 5% on 2014; 1,000 exhibiting companies and 600 animals; over 100 training events, including conferences and workshops attended by more than 10,000 people.
